England Rugby World Cup final tickets - not too late to try
Thursday, October 11th, 2007
Who’d have thought it - England in the Rugby World Cup final again?
Not us, that’s for sure. We thought it would be an early bath and a quick trip home through Le Tunnel. Of course, that causes all sorts of problems for anyone who really, really wants to cheer our lads on but didn’t look into buying tickets because they thought there’d be no point.
We mean, who’s got tickets to sell at this late stage?
Other fans, that’s who. Fans who bought tickets but have had to cancel because of illness, because of sudden work committments, because of being Australian French and HAVING BEEN KNOCKED OUT BY ENGLAND. Ahem, sorry about that.
But how do you get hold of those tickets?
Through a nifty site called Seatwave, which acts as a fan-to-fan broker for sports, theatre and gig tickets. Unlike a traditional ticket seller, there’s no limit to how late in the day they could have tickets - in theory, right up to the starting whistle if someone needs to unload theirs.
Worth a look, right? Certainly better than standing around outside the Stade de France in the rain looking hopeful…
